FABIAN

Born on Groundhog Day, February 2, 1939, Dorothy Fabian was also a symbol of lighthearted hope for bright days. Born to Elizabeth and Charles Graham, her family's spirit of joy is carried on through her three children, four grandchildren, daughter-in-law, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Born in Jersey City, she followed a love for nursing to become someone who showed kindness to those in her field. That path brought her a family which she cultivated and nurtured until she passed on April 22, 2026.
She lived the last third of her life with her daughters Dorothy and Elizabeth, and her two granddaughters (who called her Nana), enjoying endless moments of laughter, and providing support to the family through the loss of her son-in-law. Dorothy taught those she knew how to keep their chin up, and focus on being the best version of themselves.
In her final days, she enjoyed the simple pleasures of sharing a good meal with her closest best friend, her daughter and mini-me – also named Dorothy. Their bond was something special for everyone to witness, and will last forever in the echoes that love creates. Dorothy passed peacefully next to her two daughters, in their shared home on a quiet cul-de-sac in Boston. The birds with their homes near her window whistled as she joined her countless family in spirit form.
She is missed by so many, but the impact Dorothy had with her life will be mirrored here forever.
