Christopher Patrick O'Sullivan Sr., who was Born on July 12, 1930 to the late George and Ellen(Jennings) O'Sullivan in Galway, Ireland and raised in Claddagh, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 2, 2026.

Christopher was always happy to be with family and is survived by his loving children Bernadette and her husband John D. Hackett, Donna and her husband Arthur E. Lamb Jr., Christopher P. O’Sullivan Jr. and his wife Wendy, Christopher is predeceased by his daughter Maureen and by her husband the late Vincent E. Bonafine, Sr., Christopher is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Jason Lamb and his wife Kelly, Vincent E. Bonafine Jr., Caitlin Bonafine Lessault and her husband Nicolas, Aidan and Collin O'Sullivan and adored great grandson Brody Lamb. Christopher is also survived by his sister in- law Bernadette (Monaghan) Connaughton, and all of his loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also left behind is Christopher's beloved cat Teddy.

Christopher joins in heaven his late family members Kathleen, Nellie, Michael, Eileen, George and Nora O’Sullivan, Mary, James, Patrick, Tessie(O'Riordan), Jimmy, Michael, Anne, Murty Monaghan, Winifred Conneely, Margaret Cooke, Kathleen and Tom Gorham, Tony and Peter Connaughton, Mary Theresa (Conneely) Celi, Keri Synder, Shaun and Michael Monaghan

Christopher worked for the New England Historical Genealogical Society, Boston, and he also operated a successful catering business with his wife Bridie.

Christopher was a parishioner and faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Roslindale for seventy years. He and Bridie were active members of the Irish Social Club of West Roxbury.

He enjoyed trips to Ireland and Cape Cod. Christopher enjoyed fixing and creating items around the house. He was the original recycler. He spent hours gardening, winning several categories in Mayor Menino’s Garden Contest which recognized the beautification of Boston.

Visitation Services provided by the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at the Sacred Heart Church, 169 Cummins Highway. Roslindale, MA, Entombment will be in Saint Michael’s Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul or a charity of your Choice in Christopher's memory.
