Lena (Comperchio), 99, of West Roxbury, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply.

Lena was the beloved daughter of the late Filomena and Pasquale Comperchio and the youngest of their ten children.

She was the beloved wife of the late John “Ozzie” Dello Russo. They both grew up in Boston’s North End, raised their family in West Roxbury, enjoyed summers at their home in Dennis Port on Cape Cod, and spent their winters in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Lena was the devoted mother of John Dello Russo and his wife, Gail, of Feeding Hills; Mark Dello Russo of Norwood; Maria Carpenter and her husband, Bryan, of Plymouth; and Ann Prittie and her husband, Ralph, of West Roxbury.

She was the cherished grandmother of Christa, David, and Cara, and the proud great-grandmother of Lena, her namesake.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visiting hours on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Kfoury Keefe Funeral Home, 8 Spring Street, West Roxbury. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, and interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
