How Will this Affect You?

Closure Detour / West Roxbury Parkway Full Intersection Closure Detour

The intersection will be closed from Friday night, May 15 until Monday morning, May 18. Traffic will be detoured via Anawan Avenue and Beech Street. Police will be stationed to guide traffic from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Bus Detour

The MBTA bus stops servicing routes 35, 36, 37, and 38 at the Belgrade Ave/W. Roxbury Parkway intersection, which will be closed during the detour, and riders will be directed to the adjacent stop pairs at Belgrade Ave/Centre Street and Belgrade Ave/Iona Street/McCraw Street. Buses will follow the prescribed detour on Anawan Ave & Beech Street. The MBTA will place additional signage at the affected bus stops to notify riders of this change.

Please take care to pay attention to all signage as it is posted. Police details, changes in lane markings, temporary controls such as barriers and traffic cones, signage, and other tools will be used throughout the project to control traffic and create safe work zones within the project limits.
