Boston needs poll workers

Primary coming

August 13, 2026

The Boston Election Department is looking for community members to serve as poll workers for the upcoming State Primary.

Elections do not run on ballots and machines alone. They run because people step forward to help their neighbors participate. Serving as a poll worker is one of the most direct ways to support our democracy and help make sure every voter has a fair, accessible, and welcoming experience.
