CLARK

Mary Catherine “Cathy” (Enos) Clark, 84, of Westwood, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, with her family by her side.
Born in Boston on May 29, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothea Enos and grew up in Roslindale. She spent her early days at St. Clare’s High School in Roslindale and later followed her lifelong passion for creativity at the Vesper George School of Art in Boston.
She married Albert Clark on May 25, 1968, and together they shared a beautiful life and 58 years of marriage. She is survived by her devoted husband, Albert; her two children, Jennifer McCusker and her husband Michael of Westwood, and Jeff Clark of Cambridge; and her three cherished grandchildren, Sheamus, Sophia, and Allison.
A wonderfully gifted illustrator and painter, Cathy brought vibrant color into everything she did. She was rarely seen traveling without a sketchpad and her watercolors in hand, ready to capture the beauty around her. Because of her endless creative energy, every wall in the family home is proudly covered in her artwork. Her friends and family were also regularly treated to her custom, homemade cards for birthdays and milestones—personalized treasures that will be kept and smiled over for years to come.
Beyond her art, Cathy’s true masterpiece was the way she connected with the world. A consummate people person, she loved meeting new people and discovering everything about them. She was a true local celebrity; you couldn’t go anywhere in the area without the staff knowing and adoring her. Truly ageless, the mere thought of being considered an "old lady" horrified her. She had a sharp sense of style and was always so up-to-date on fashion and design trends that she easily defied her years. People of all ages were naturally drawn to her fun, youthful spirit, and she was always the person everyone wanted to be around.
Visiting hours will be held at the P.E. Murray - F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Thursday, May 28th from 4-8pm. A brief funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday, May 29th at 12 noon. Relatives and friends kindly invited. A celebration of life will follow. Interment private.
