James J. “Jim” Sr. of West Roxbury, passed away on September 17, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Honore B. (Gettens) Duggan. Devoted brother of the late Charles “Chickie” Duggan and Dorothy “Dottie” Cavanaugh. Loving and beloved father to Tricia Flynn of Mansfield, Karen Camerano of West Roxbury, Jim Duggan, Jr. and his wife Peg of Mansfield, Mickey Mackenzie and her husband Brian of Duxbury. Loving grandfather of Katie, Amy, and Jenny Flynn and her husband Adam Oteri, Christopher and Michelle Camerano, Erin, Michael, and Lauren Duggan. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim found his greatest joy in camping, creating lasting memories with his family while traversing the sights of the East Coast. In recent years, Jim found joy in the simple, quiet moments shared with his beloved family and close friends.

Visiting Hours in the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Followed by a Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
