Kate V., a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Ashland, MA, on March 27, 2026, at the age of 58. Born in Moscow, USSR, Kate was known for her infectious laughter, sharp wit, generous spirit, and deep compassion.

Kate is survived by her devoted husband, Mamia; her cherished children, Misha and Alexei; her former husband and the father of her children, Paul; her loving mother, Ludmila; and her sister, Yelena. Her radiant inner and outer beauty will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kate will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. She was a true light in this world, and her legacy of kindness, empathy, and joy will continue to inspire all who were touched by her life.

A celebration of Kate's was held at P.E. Murray-F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St., West Roxbury, MA followed by interment in Puritan Mount Sinai Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.
